E&CO meets with former indonesian President Megawati and her family(Mokpo, Korea)
E&CO met with former Indonesian President Megawati Soekarnoputri and her family on Tuesday and discussed ways to increase cooperation between their countries for LNG Power plant, a restaurant in Mokpo said.
Megawati arrived in South Korea with her family on Monday for a five-day trip mainly to attend a ceremony to receive an honorary doctorate degree from Mokpo National University in the southwest coastal city of Mokpo.
While in Mokpo, Megawati is also scheduled to visit a memorial set up to commemorate the 2000 Nobel Peace Prize that late former President Kim Dae-jung received for his peace initiative with North Korea.

Site Visit - 20MW Electric Power Supply(North Kalimantan, Indonesia)
E&CO performed site survey 20MW Power plant at Tarakan area and reviewed progress on the project. The morning began with an informal introduction over tea and coffee presentation from C.E.O Song Byung-Geun on the PT. Cahaya Sakti. Mr. Song said “The 20MW Tarakan Power plant will be the first large scale independent power producer (IPP) based on EPC project in Tarakan.”
The agreement for the Tarakan EPC project was signed on September 2017, Due to a tight power supply and demand balance, Power produced from the Tarakan power plant can be supplied to around 20 thousand households simultaneously, which will ensure a stable supply to the industrial complex at Tarakan.
CEO, Song, Byung-Geunsaid that "We are very proud of participating in the development of Indonesia's electric power industry. We will do our best so that the Tarakan Power Plant can be a best power plant model in Indonesia."
Status of Simenggaris field (North Kalimantan, Indonesia)
As of December 2017, the Simenggaris Field Site Survey, a gas field owned by MEDCO, was conducted to supply LNG for power plants and LNG satellite stations proposed in north Kalimantan in Indonesia.
The size of the liquefaction plant will be 25 MMSCFD and will be responsible for EPC at E&CO.,Ltd. The LNG produced by the liquefaction plant will supply LNG to three locations gas power plants through the Small Scale Bunkering Vessel.
