2021년 10월 21일, E&CO, 한국해사기술(KOMAC), 래티스 테크놀로지(LATTICE), 로이드 선급(LR) 간 LH2 Carrier의 공동개발 프로젝트 (JDP) 진행에 대한 업무협약 (MOU)를 체결하였다. 금번 협약은 점차 강화되는 환경규제에 따라, 친환경 연료로 각광받고 있는 액화수소(LH2) 운송용 Carrier를 개발하는데 목적이 있으며, E&CO는 Carrier 의 추진을 위한 LNG 연료공급 시스템 개발을 진행한다. 금번 협약을 통해 각 사가 가진 노하우를 활용하여 LH2 Carrier 를 개발, 시장을 선도해 나갈 것이라 자신한다.
On October 21, 2021, E&CO Signed MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with KOMAC, LATTICE Technology and Lloyd's Register (LR) for JDP (Joint Development Project) of LH2 Carrier. This agreement aims to develop Carrier for transports Liquid Hydrogen(LH2), the eco-friendly fuels under increasing environmental regulations. E&CO will develop LNG fuel supply system in this Carrier. Through this agreement, they (members of the agreement) are confident that they will develop LH2 Carrier using know-how of each company and lead the market.
