E&CO Co., Ltd. Completes KGS Final Inspection for LPG and Biodiesel Fuel Storage and Supply System

On May 22, 2026, E&CO Co., Ltd. successfully completed the KGS (Korea Gas Safety Corporation) final inspection for an LPG and biodiesel fuel storage and supply system currently being constructed under contract with Research Institute F.
The fuel storage and supply facility was installed near Osikdo-dong in Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do. The KGS final inspection is the mandatory procedure conducted by the Korea Gas Safety Corporation to verify that high-pressure gas and specific gas facilities comply with all applicable safety standards before gas can be introduced into the system for operation. During the inspection, KGS supervisors compared the as-built facility with the approved engineering drawings to confirm that the installation had been carried out in accordance with legal and technical requirements. In addition, leak-tightness and pressure tests were performed to verify the integrity of the system and ensure there was no risk of gas leakage.
Prior to the issuance of the official KGS completion certificate, E&CO Co., Ltd. plans to conduct final system checks through pre-commissioning procedures as well as commissioning tests in the presence of the client before full operation begins.
2026년 5월 22일 주식회사 이앤코가 F연구기관과 계약 후 구축 중인 LPG, 바이오 디젤 저장 및 공급시스템 설비에 대해 KGS(한국가스안전공사) 완성검사를 완료했다.
이 연료 저장 및 공급 설비는 전북 군산시 오식도동 인근에 설치됐으며, KGS 완성검사는 고압가스 및 특정 가스시설 설치 후 해당 시설 내 가스를 사용하기 전 안전 기준에 적합한 지 한국가스안전공사에서 최종 확인하는 절차이다. 완성검사 당일 KGS 감독관은 구축된 설비가 법적 기준에 맞게 시공되었는 지 도면과 현장을 대조했고, 기밀시험과 내압시험을 통해 가스 누출 위험이 없는 지 확인했다.
KGS 완성검사 필증 발급을 앞두고 있는 이앤코는, 설비 구동 전 자체 시운전과 고객사 입회 하의 시운전을 통해 최종 점검을 할 예정이다.
