E&CO Co., Ltd. Completes KGS Intermediate Inspection for LPG and Biodiesel Fuel Storage and Supply System

On April 14, 2026, E&CO Co., Ltd. successfully completed the KGS (Korea Gas Safety Corporation) intermediate inspection for an LPG and biodiesel fuel storage and supply system currently under construction under contract with Research Institute F.
The facility is being installed near Osikdo-dong in Gunsan City, and the intermediate inspection was conducted as a mandatory step prior to the final KGS completion inspection required for high-pressure gas and specific gas facilities. In particular, non-destructive testing (NDT) and pressure tests were carried out on piping systems to verify the integrity of welding processes. In addition, P&ID and ISO drawings were thoroughly reviewed to ensure there were no omissions, confirming the absence of internal weld defects and validating the overall system safety.
E&CO Co., Ltd. is now preparing for the final statutory inspection, the KGS completion inspection, and plans to obtain the official certification upon submission of the inspection application.
2026년 4월 14일 주식회사 이앤코가 F연구기관과 계약 후 구축 중인 LPG, 바이오 디젤 저장 및 공급시스템 설비에 대해 KGS(한국가스안전공사) 중간검사를 완료했다.
이 설비는 군산시 오식도동 인근에 설치 중이며, 고압가스 및 특정 가스시설 설치를 위해 반드시 필요한 KGS 완성검사 전 실시됐다. 특히, 가스 저장 시설 및 배관, 용접 공정 검사를 위해 배관 비파괴 검사와 내압시험을 수행하였고, P&ID, ISO DWG 내 표기 누락 여부를 확인하여 용접부 내부 결함이 없음과 그 안정성을 입증하였다.
이앤코는 이어 최종 필수 법정 검사인 KGS 완성검사를 앞두고있으며, 검사신청 후 완성검사 증명서를 취득할 예정이다.
