E&CO Co., Ltd. signs Investment Agreement with Yangsan City

On October 28, 2025, E&CO Co., Ltd. signed an investment agreement worth KRW 8 billion (approximately USD 6 million) with Yangsan City during the 2025 Gyeongsangnam-do Investment Promotion Forum held at the Westin Josun Hotel in Seoul. Under the agreement, the company plans to establish a new manufacturing facility in the Gasan General Industrial Complex in Yangsan.
E&CO Co., Ltd. specializes in the development and manufacturing of advanced equipment and storage/supply systems for low-carbon fuels such as LNG, ammonia, and hydrogen. Through this relocation and expansion, the company aims to enhance manufacturing efficiency, accelerate technological innovation, and secure the infrastructure needed to respond to growing global demand for carbon-neutral energy solutions. The new facility is expected to strengthen E&CO’s production base and bolster its future export capabilities.
Yangsan City has pledged to provide comprehensive administrative support throughout the entire investment process, including permitting, infrastructure development, and facility construction, to ensure E&CO can carry out the project smoothly and efficiently.
This investment will enable E&CO to establish a new green manufacturing hub, while reinforcing its domestic production capacity and laying the groundwork for global market expansion.

당사는 LNG, 암모니아, 수소 등 저탄소 연료 기반의 특수 가스 설비 및 저장·공급 시스템을 전문적으로 개발·제조해 온 기업으로, 이번 양산 이전을 통해 제조 효율성 및 기술 혁신 기반 강화, 향후 글로벌 수출 및 탄소중립 수요 대응에 필요한 인프라를 확보하게 될 전망이다. 특히, 생산설비의 효율성과 기술혁신 역량을 높여 글로벌 탄소중립 에너지 수요에 발맞춘 공급역량을 갖추겠다는 계획이다.
양산시는 이번 투자를 계기로 이앤코가 안정적으로 투자와 사업을 진행할 수 있도록 인허가 절차, 기반시설 조성, 공장 설비 구축 등 전 과정에 맞춤형 행정지원을 제공할 예정이다. 이번 투자로 이앤코는 새로운 친환경 제조 거점을 확보함과 동시에, 국내 생산 역량을 강화하고 글로벌 시장 진출에 필요한 기반을 다지는 계기를 마련하게 됐다.
