E&CO Co., Ltd. Mutual Cooperation Ceremony with the Suez Canal Authority

On July 1, 2025, E&CO Co., Ltd. held a ceremony at the SCA Training Center in Port Said, Egypt, together with the Suez Canal Authority (SCA) and two other institutions, to mark mutual cooperation and the successful implementation of the Egypt Suez Canal green energy infrastructure construction project.

The project, launched in 2024 and scheduled to run for four years, will establish LNG bunkering station infrastructure and a training center dedicated to technology and safety education in the Port Said area. Through this initiative, the Suez Canal Authority is expected to accelerate the transition of its diesel-powered service vessels to low-carbon fuels, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable operations in one of the world’s most critical maritime corridors.

주식회사 이앤코는 2025년 7월 1일 이집트 포트사이드(Port Said)의 SCA Training Center (Suez Canal Authority)에서 SCA를 포함한 3개 기관과 함께 이집트 수에즈 운하 그린 에너지 인프라 구축 사업의 상호 협력과 성공적인 진행을 위한 세레모니를 진행했다.

이번 사업은 2024년부터 착수 돼 4년 간 수행될 예정이며, 포트사이드 지역에 LNG 벙커링 스테이션 인프라 구축과 기술, 안전 교육을 위한 교육센터 설립을 통해 수에즈 운하청에서 운영 중인 디젤연료 관리선박의 저탄소 연료 전환에 힘을 실을 전망이다.
